Elevated a social platform for digital artists through branding.

I collaborated with a California-based startup to enhance a social platform designed to empower small digital artists by providing a space to showcase and sell their work. My role focused on strategic branding to build a cohesive visual identity, increase platform visibility, and improve engagement with NFTs and digital products.

To achieve this, I designed digital assets, social media content, and website mockups, ensuring consistency across touchpoints. I applied digital product design principles, leveraging geometric, flat shapes for a sleek, modern aesthetic that aligned with the platform’s mission. By refining the brand’s visual language and optimizing user-facing content, I contributed to a stronger, more engaging user experience that supported artists in growing their digital presence.

How does a brand refresh impact user engagement and consistency?

Project Year: 2022

Overview: Designed digital assets, social media posts, and website mockups aligned with brand guidelines, collaborating across departments to ensure consistent branding. My goal was to bring a fresh, modern approach to the startup's visual identity, using geometric, flat shapes for a polished look. I refined the brand's social media presence, simplifying visuals to create a clear, cohesive message that resonates with the target audience.

Project Background

Background: This project focused on enhancing brand clarity and digital presence for a California-based startup by developing a cohesive visual identity informed by audience preferences, market trends, and competitor research. Through usability testing and cross-departmental collaboration, I designed simplified, modern visuals that strengthened brand consistency across digital platforms.

I designed digital assets, social media content, and website mockups that aligned with brand guidelines, ensuring a cohesive and engaging visual identity. My process included brand research, concept development, and collaborative refinement, leading to a polished, modern aesthetic. Through execution and optimization, I simplified visuals for clarity, consistency, and stronger audience engagement.

Design

The process began with an in-depth analysis of the startup’s existing brand identity, competitor platforms, and target audience to identify opportunities for differentiation. I then explored layouts, color schemes, and typography through concept development, ensuring alignment with the brand’s mission and user expectations. Working closely with marketing and product teams, I refined designs based on feedback, ensuring consistency across social media, website interfaces, and promotional materials. Finally, I simplified complex visuals, creating a clear, engaging, and visually compelling experience for the platform’s audience.

Development

I developed branding across web and social platforms, crafting a unified visual identity that seamlessly adapted to each platform’s unique format and audience expectations. This involved designing consistent yet flexible brand elements, ensuring that colors, typography, and graphic styles aligned across digital touchpoints.

On social platforms, I tailored content to match the specific style and user behavior of each channel. I also refined messaging to maintain a cohesive brand voice, ensuring that every interaction reinforced brand recognition and user trust. Through this strategic approach, I strengthened the brand’s digital presence, clarity, and audience connection across multiple platforms.
